Located in Silvassa, this is a major grease-producing agency/company. This company is a major distributor to a lot of major brands in India. It produces as well as supplies its products on a huge commercial scale.
About the Project
Our architects designed this more like a creative zone and not like a typical factory which seems to be monotonous. This project got our esteemed firm and designers some plus points in our bucket of experience. Distributed in zones and blocks, it houses a quarters area where there are typologies of houses provided. There are provisions made for the guests to stay in guest rooms, bunk beds for the technicians, and also rooms for the executive- the director’s bedroom.
The entrance.
Every space of this project seemed to have an idea, a concept that revolved throughout. The entrance was formulated as a very welcoming space by using bricks. Brick walls kept the area cooler and warm both in times of need. The entry was moreover like a hall of fame where the history was displayed. Pictography, drawings and artwork were also framed.
The factory office.
The other zone consists of a factory office crafted inside a shed. Above which there is abundant pleasant natural light and ventilation. The space in and around this office looks very attractive compared to what usual factory offices look like. We laid out our skills to break this monotony.
Due to immense sunlight and acrylic sheets laid over, there was naturally no need for extra lighting throughout the day. This made it cost-effective as well. The space composed by us here overall created a very cheerful ambiance not only for the visitors and executives but also for the workers who enjoyed working there every day. Also, we made optimum use of playful and joyous colors which was an add-on to this crafty space. While this space did break the monotony, it was also quite modern as a factory office.
